I was born in a small mining town in Transylvania, Romania. Since 1990 I have lived and worked in Australia. In 2007 I completed a Bachelor in Fine Arts at National Art School, Sydney, majoring in painting under the mentoring of Aida Tomescu and Steven Harvey. After living in Australia for over 25 years I moved back to Romania for a few years spurred by a desire to reconnect and explore Romanian traditions, mythology and art. Since my return to Sydney in 2019 I continued my journey into creating a strong body of work.
